Welcome to TheraLink. By accessing or using our speech therapy marketplace platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using TheraLink, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.
2. Description of Service
TheraLink is an online marketplace that connects patients with Speech-Language Pathologists in Malaysia. We provide a platform for:
- Patients to find, book, and manage appointments with therapists
- Therapists to manage their practice, availability, and patient appointments
- Secure payment processing through our token system
We do not provide speech therapy services directly. All therapy services are provided by independent, licensed Speech-Language Pathologists.
3. User Accounts
To use our platform, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian consent)
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Therapist Verification
All therapists on our platform must:
- Hold valid professional qualifications in speech-language pathology
- Be registered with relevant Malaysian healthcare authorities
- Undergo our verification process before accepting appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date profile information
5. Booking and Appointments
When booking appointments:
- Appointments require advance booking (minimum 24 hours notice)
- Appointment confirmations are subject to therapist approval
- You agree to attend scheduled appointments or cancel within the required timeframe
- Virtual appointments are conducted via Google Meet
6. Payment and Tokens
Our platform uses a token-based payment system:
- 1 token = RM 50
- Tokens are purchased through our secure payment gateway (Billplz)
- Each appointment costs 1 token
- Token purchases are final and non-refundable for cash
- Tokens never expire and remain in your account until used
7. Cancellation and Refunds
Our cancellation policy:
- Cancel more than 24 hours before: Full token refund
- Cancel less than 24 hours before: No refund
- Therapist cancellation: Full token refund (automatic)
- No-show: No refund

8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Provide false or misleading information
- Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users or therapists
- Attempt to circumvent platform fees or policies
- Copy, modify, or distribute platform content without permission
9. Reviews and Feedback
When leaving reviews:
- Reviews must be honest and based on actual experience
- We reserve the right to remove inappropriate or fraudulent reviews
- Therapists may respond to reviews professionally
10. Intellectual Property
All content on TheraLink, including logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by TheraLink or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our content without written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
TheraLink is a marketplace platform. We are not liable for:
- The quality or outcomes of therapy services provided by therapists
- Actions or conduct of users or therapists
- Technical issues beyond our reasonable control
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Our total liability is limited to the amount of tokens you have purchased.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Malaysia.
